We were quite disappointed with the room we were given. It was very tired and the windows left a lot ot be desired, as was the view of the bin area. Having said that, it was clean, beds were comfortable and we had all we needed for a 2 night stay but I think we might have asked for an upgrade if we were staying any longer.

We go to the Gairloch hotel every year, we absolutely love it. Sure some areas are a bit tired but the location & friendliness of staff make up for it. Can it recommend highly enough.

We had a lovely seaview room. Staff everywhere so.pleasant and welcoming. Very clean everywhere. Walk in Shower would have been good but totally managed with over bath shower. in our room.

Every year we look forward to our spring break at the Gairloch Hotel and it never fails to delight. A fantastic team of people who go out of their way to provide their guests with the best holiday experience. We had a beautiful view from our window, a clean and comfortable room, tasty food and plenty of opportunity to relax and just chill out. Top it off with beautiful views and sunshine and you have the recipe for a perfect holiday. Looking forward to next years trip already.

Staff were, without exception, friendly and welcoming. Next time we will ask for a room with a view. But bedroom was comfortable and spacious. Food good though not very exciting. Breakfasts are excellent.
Excellent location, value for money old-school hotel

The hotel is in a great location close to beaches. It’s old and a bit tired in some areas, but the very friendly, efficient staff, and good value offered, make up for that. If you’re looking for luxury and perfection it won’t suit you, but it suited us. The Reservations Manager was very flexible and helpful when helping me sort out an Itison booking I’d made ages ago and forgotten about. As a result, we’re looking forward to a return visit soon.

I have stayed several times at the Gairloch Hotel and love it. The view is spectacular, the staff are friendly, there's a lovely beach directly across the road and it has a relaxed atmosphere.

The friendly and responsive staff helped to make our stay really enjoyable. Although the building is old the bedroom was very clean and the dining areas were obviously recently refurbished to a high standard. Our meals were all plentiful and tasty - thank you very much!
