We’ve been visiting The Boat for a good number of years and always enjoy a return to this lovely Inn. Staff are always cheery and helpful.

This was our second visit to the Boat Inn, and was every bit as good as on the first occasion.
Without exception, all of the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and this was matched by good food and a nice clean and tidy environment.
Suggestion for improvement - perhaps an additional electrical socket in room 13 near the mirror, as the hairdryer doesn’t stretch that far.

I found the Inn restful with lovely places round about. The towns of Braemar and Ballater quite close. Go if you love nature and not looking for nightlife. Lots of farm shops with homemade food and treats. The Inn provides lovely food and breakfast sets you up for the day.. The Inn was very comfortable, room was small but accommodated a lovely big bed with separate modern shower. room. The river Dee runs past the front door with lovely walks and places to bar b que.
