Everything very nice. Maybe more lighting in the room was very dull but that’s trivial , it was a lovely relaxing stay

We stayed one night in this hotel. The room was big and very comfortable. The breakfast was good. I would definitely recommend, and I will have no hesitation on booking this hotel again.?

The room was clean and it was very spacious and it looked lovely. The bed was very comfortable. The bar and sitting area was lovely too.
The only thing that was a let down was the breakfast. It wasn't a great selection and didn't have a lot in terms of a Scottish breakfast, like no potato scones or mushrooms and also only scrambled egg was available. Sausages weren't great, small and thin. The breakfast was the only letdown.
The stay was lovely overall and the staff were very helpful.

The hotel and room were lovely, newly decorated, modern and fit for purpose.
We booked for a Saturday night and as expected it was busy. However we arrived for breakfast about 10am on Sunday morning and immediately identified that there was very little food available. No hot food, no fruit, yoghurt or granola and no pastries. Whilst I understand the hotel was busy, there was still an hour until breakfast finished and to be honest my partner and I were very hungry. I asked staff about food and they apologised and said it would be five minutes. Fifteen minutes later some hot food items arrived, however by this time there were up to twenty people waiting food and the first few in the queue took all of what was available. In the end my partner and I had toast, which she required to eat dry as there was also no jam left within the pots and she doesn’t eat butter. In addition the coffee was of a standard comparable to a warehouse vending machine.
The worst breakfast experience I’ve had at a city hotel. In the end we left and went to Dishoom for breakfast which cost us £41.00 by was fantastic.

My friend and I stayed here last week in a twin room. We opted to upgrade to club so we could use the spa and would really recommend that. With that, our room was also upgraded so we had two double beds, big bathroom, dressing area, coffee machine and a box of chocolates. It was a lovely touch. As part of our voucher we got a glass of Prosecco each which we had in their bar, and we also had breakfast. The breakfast was standard continental and hot buffet. Nothing special but on par with all other hotels. The spa is small and you have to book your slot but we really enjoyed it! It included a salt sauna, cold plunge and hot beds.
Overall stunning building and beautifully designed spaces with modern and clean rooms and comfy beds. Would absolutely stay again, but likely eat breakfast elsewhere.

This was a gift for my parents anniversary, didn’t get off to a good start as I had booked a Friday stay for them and at time of booking and paying for their stay, no supplement for Friday stay was payable, however they were charged an extra £40 on arrival at the hotel (£20 was refunded next day when the hotel admitted mistake - they had been charged for a Saturday stay). I feel this should be more visable when buying voucher. They also didn’t get the prosecco which was part of the deal - this seems to be a ploy by hotel as I’ve noticed this is quite common, as quite a few people have said the same thing.

Room was average size, bed and pillows comfortable. bathroom and shower nice and clean.
Read small print when booking for a Saturday night as £20 extra for each person added. Restaurant mixed up our dinner and bill was incorrect 3 times. Restaurant should be made aware in advance of Itison deal customers.
