We had a lovely stay at the hotel, staff were very helpful and polite, rooms were clean and tidy and bed and especially pillows were soooo comfy.
Breakfast both mornings was excellent.
We will definitely be back.

Staff at the Grosvenor were great, rooms however are a bit tired; but ok.
Cooked Breakfast was one of worst I have ever had at a Hilton Hotel. This was not the fault of the serving staff (who were very friendly) but more of the management of the breakfast food available from the kitchen.
Everything was over cooked as it had been so long under the heated lights. Fried Eggs were rubbery, haggis & black pudding were dry and baked beans had gone to mush! The tattie scones were so hard they were inedible. I feel so sorry for any one visiting from abroad who thought this meal represented a full Scottish Breakfast.
We would use a Hilton again but go elsewhere for food. Their staff saved the day!!

The room was clean and comfortable enough with a nice view of the Botanic Gardens but unfortunately it was next to the goods lift which made an awful racket every few minutes for hours in the mornings. The voucher said that vegetarian/vegan options were available but when we arrived for our breakfast there was none and nobody was particularly helpful/apologetic about it.

The hotel and restaurant staff were very helpful and pleasant. I had forgotten to book a twin room and the desk staff made no issue ,they just got on and fixed the problem.
The waiting staff that we interacted with in the restaurant were help friendly and chatty.
The bar was a wholly different experience. There were no more that 6 customers yet the bar was wet, dirty and untidy. The cocktails were sub-par,despite the bar staff braging about his abilities.
We decided to take our drinks to the foyer, which we left unfinished and went to bed. Our room was clean and comfortable, maybe a bit stingy with the milk and sugar. The bed deserves a special mention. What a great mattress .
Definitely would return

The interior of the hotel bears no resemblance to the beautiful frontage that's advertised. In fact the entrance to the reception is through a side door which looks onto a very tired and gloomy foyer. The carpets are old and stained where our room was. We overlooked waitrose carpark but did have a view over part of the city. The room was large with 2 double twin beds. Everything there. Kettle, hairdryer etc. The bathroom okay, outdated but clean and a fair size. I'm glad we never booked a meal in the bistro as we went for a drink there and there was empty used glasses just about on every table. The floor and table and menue was sticking. The chap in charge wandered in and our but never picked any up. He did say there was a function on. We had a voucher so the deal was a drink, bed and breakfast for £99. For Glasgow that's good.
The outside front of the hotel is Beautiful as you would expect from a Grovenor so I was really dssapointed by the inside. It felt like the staff were holding the fort but had lost interest and couldn't be bothered. Sad for what must have been a Beautiful hotel.
The breakfast was good with ample choices.
At there normal rate I would not recommend the Grovenor.

We had a great overnight stay
Upgraded our room which was well.worth it. Had dinner in restaurant, lovely food good selection. Staff all very friendly. Only issue is parking as we had to enter and leave on foot through the supermarket +

The young lady at reception was very pleasant & helpful. My room was extremely clean and comfortable. I was a bit disappointed in the lounge: it was freezing & I left to try to find somewhere warmer to sit - but the only place was the reception area, which again was not very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful & really tasty.
