Host very welcoming. Then we met the animals. We were allowed to hold the “kids”. Lastly we had hot chocolate and s’mores. Only a couple of hours but nice. Felt like you’re in the country, whereas you’re actually in Dundee!!

We had a lovely visit. The people who run it were really nice and knew they loved what they did. Plenty of food to feed the animals. Then into a fire hut where we got hot chocolate and smores. Loved it.

Our host was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Being able to interact with and feed the animals was really lovely. S’mores and hot chocolate was the perfect was to round off the trip - cosy and tasty, and nice to chat to the others on the trip.

Fantastic day out for all the family. you can see the passion that goes into the place and the animals are well cared for. highly recommend it for a family trip.

I bought vouchers for my niece and nephews Christmas and we had the best time visiting Balmuirfield House. The animals were very friendly and the kids loved Snoop Hogg. The cosy hut, hot chocolate and snores were great and the baby goats were an absolute highlight!

Despite the very wet weather my children and I all had a super afternoon at Balmuirfield House! Kids loved feeding the animals and learning all about them from Richard. The s'mores in the lovely cosy bbq hut was just the perfect end to the afternoon, will definitely return & highly recommend

Took the grandkids to feed the animals, but it was so much more. Richard was so enthusiastic about his place and the animals all had there own story's like age where they came from etc, feeding them was so much fun not just for the kids but the adults to, the hot chocolate was amazing along with the S'mores, we will definitely be going back again.

We had the best time during our visit to Balmuirfield House animal meet & greet last Sunday and recommend it to everyone who loves animals. The owner was so thoughtful! He even lended my fiance a pair of old trousers to wear around the animals instead of my fiance's jeans that would have surely got so dirty. Remember to wear something old because the animals will get close to you and get you dirty but it's part of the fun. The animals were lovely, appeared well looked after, and we loved interacting with them. There was 8 of us in the group, as mentioned in the small print, and we found it to be a good group size as everyone had their fare share of time with the animals. We concluded our visit with an amazing cup of hot chocolate and some marshmallows that we toasted over a small fire in the hut. Needless to say, we left the place feeling very warm and happy.
