Yes we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel the room was very good and comfortable the staff were excellent as was the food.only one problem I tried to book a swim for me and a facial for my wife etta but they were fully booked. Maybe next time.

Nice enough hotel rooms clean and tidy. Bar area good. Pool is ok but needs redo rates at peeling tiles and water marks on walls throughout not very appealing. Gnocchi vegetarian Meal at night was poor was sent back twice before changing my option to vegetarian haggis neeps and tatties which was fine. Vegetarian options for breakfast again poor only eggs and mushrooms no proper options so that I can enjoy a full breakfast same as everyone else

Great room & breakfast, facilities were great at the spa.
Only difficulty was it took over 19 emails to book, using the it is on voucher meant I couldn’t book through their usual system. Different staff members would reply with different answers on available days etc… just something made difficult that should have been simple.

The staff, most of the ones we encountered who were under a lot of pressure, were very friendly and helpful. Our room was well cleaned but needed a more suitable mirror and better lighting.
The food was not of a great standard. We had toasties/paninis for lunch and there was very little filling in them. I opted for steak pie for dinner and was horrified to find it served with french fries!! And only one vegetable. They seemed to serve the fries with most things. My husbands gnocchi was overcooked.

Hotel was lovely and in a great location. This was an excellent offer and the food was excellent so we ate in the hotel both nights. Only concern was one of the staff on reception who was less than helpful. We went along at just after 3pm to check in but told room not ready and could be up to 5pm. We went for a walk and tried phoning around 4pm. After holding on the phone for 30 minutes, we walked back to the hotel (phone still ringing) to be told room had been ready for some time. No hamper/Prosecco in room. We did have a bit of a problem with sleeping. Woken up first night around 6am with a buzzing sound and 2nd night both of us waken by buzzing sound at 2am and again at 3am. Receptionist suggested we had left our phones on??
