Wonderful relaxing weekend with friends in fabulous surroundings

We were w couples and a dog and had a fabulous time in self-catering apartment which way exceeded our expectations. 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property with very comfy beds and very high quality bed linen. Spacious bedrooms and spotless bathrooms and kitchen/lounge was amazing with patio doors onto wooden balcony overlooking large garden and river north tyne at far end. Ate in hotel bar and all thoroughly enjoyed our food and very friendly service. Great bonus of decent sized hotel pool and sauna which was very welcome after our paddleboarding on the river. We will def return.

We love Northumberland. Riverdale Hall was a really good place from which to explore. The staff were very friendly. The food is simply amazing! The beds are very comfortable. The sauna was relaxing. The nearby town of Bellingham has a great heritage centre that is definitely worth visiting.

The hotel is suitated in a small village and was lovely with good food and nice rooms the staff were exceptional and made a difference my only down point was the indoor pool was a bit and i mean a bit cooler than i thought so beware begore entering

We loved our stay at this Hotel. Our room was in the annexe and was very comfortable, everything we needed was there. Comfy bed and pillows too. Food was amazing, our compliments to the Chef. The reception staff andcatering/bar staff were very friendly and chatty. Would definitely recommend staying here.
