I have stayed at the Grand on numerous occasions and they have all equally good. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are also very good. Overall a relaxing stay.

Beautifully furnished clean hotel very grand just like its name (Grand Hotel). There was nothing I could find that could be improved.

We have been going to the Grand twice a year for about 5 years and love it.
The hotel faces out to the sea and if you can get a sea view room the view is splendid.
The hotel is clean and very comfortable, it has a very relaxing atmosphere.
The breakfast is freshly cooked and the evening meals either in the bar or restaurant are of great quality.
The rooms are very clean and have walk in showers in most rooms (check with hotel).
Tynemouth is a 5 minute walk up the road with lovely shops and plenty of cafes.
I would recommend this hotel and we will certainly be back
