We have loved our visit to Loch Long hotel. It has been very relaxing. The staff are helpful and happy, the rooms are comfy and cosy, and the food very tasty.
It has been great being able to bring our dog, Ruby with us.
Very good. Good food. Great entertainment and great walks for the dog.

It was the worst Hotel I have ever stayed in.
We arrived to a receptionist that seemed like it was his first day on the job.
He confirmed wither we had a table booked for dinner which we already did.
We went to the room put our belongings in quickly and went to get a glass of wine in the bar. Which were cheap wine, served in dirty glasses.
We returned to the room to then discover the dirty bath with long and short hairs in it. Still damp towels in the corner from the previous unfortunate visitor. Bed looked bowed in the middle.
No hairdryer ,hand soap, tea spoons, control for tv and only a 2 hand towels available.
We were then supposedly upgraded to a room with a view (old rusty caravan).
This was thankfully cleaner.
But smelled of damp and was absolutely freezing.
We decided to go for out booked meal to then be told it was just anywhere in the bar as dining room was used for a coach party.
The food was terrible along with young children running around the whole length of the bar screaming.
Breakfast the next morning was even worse.
Raw poached eggs, not a little under cooked but actually just sealed on the outside. Rock solid haggis that when we tried to cut into it, it broke and few across the freezing cold room. Even the coffee was grey.
