Upon arrival, we thought the lodge was very cute. The fire place was a nice winter touch. The bath tub with tele view beside the bed was lovely and relaxing. I wish the skylight window had been cleaner though as it slightly took away from the charm of the suite. Besides that, I have no complaints.

Lovely hotel and very chilled. Did have to search for staff a few times, like no one on the bar and no one at reception. But very peaceful.

A lovely 2 night stay. Good food, friendly helpful staff.
We stayed in turret room which was very comfortable. Nice having sitting area in turret A large bathroom with free standing bath and very large shower cubicle.
Gardens looked nice with autumn colours, would like to go back in spring summer to explore more.

The Shepherd's hut was great, the copper bath an absolute must. Dinner and breakfast at the hotel very nice, good service. Comfortable bed and lots of little knicks and knacks to make your stay more comfortable.

Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. A delicious evening meal with a nice touch of canapés served to the table. Delicious wine and a huge comfortable bed in the classic room.
