An amazing property, set on 150 acres of country estate at Wynyard Hall. Our cottage was the five bed Woodlands Cottage and it was dressed to such a high standard. All the bedroom were large and the shower rooms to each one were so well finished We all had dressing gown and slippers and towels. A lovely boot room at the side of the entrance for all the family to put coats, boots and buggies. A beautiful lounge/dinning room with plenty of seating for everyone. We all loved the kitchen. So well equipped with the exception of no microwave, but that id not cause us any worries.
just one farm house in the distance from the two large hot tubs and beautiful views across the country side. So nice to see the night sky when no light pollution . We had plenty of walks and could go to the Hall and walk round and to the tea shop and walled gardens. This made a great short break for our family get together. We were so impressed by the staff at the Hall, so welcoming and helpful and we were delighted with our massive picnic Hamper when we arrived, such a lot included and made all the difference to our stay. would recommend to any family or friends group.
Welcoming cottage, with lovely staff and attention to detail.

We had a 3 night stay in the gardeners cottage. It was a perfect little break. The cottage was very cute, with 3 great bedrooms. Lovely big kitchen which had everything you needed. The hot tub was very good too!
The grounds were lovely and id imagine in the summer even more impressive. We were given a lovely welcome basket of bread, yogurt, fruit, jam, butter and juice which was a lovely touch.
We had a great time and will definitely return. Thank you.
Third time we've stayed at Wynyard Hall as a group. Cottages are lovely & the hot tub an added bonus.

We've stayed in all 3 cottages now and have enjoyed the stay in each one in its own right. The complimentary toiletries & breakfast basket are very much appreciated & of a high standard. We used the Spa for first time this visit. Staff were extremely friendly & helpful

We were supposed to stay in dukeswood cottage but as 2 of our party took ill so couldn’t come with us I rand wynyard and asked if we could be moved to the gardeners cottage as the living room is smaller and perfect for 3 of us. We had a double bedroom each and they were beautiful. We had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing 2 nights. I did think the hot tub cools down quite quick once you have been in a couple of times.
We love it here

Relaxing break in a fabulous cottage

Stayed in Dukeswood cottage by the entrance gates. Lovely bungalow with extremely high ceilings giving a feeling of grand space.
All amenities required for a short break provided and the hamper as part of the deal was high quality.
Just be aware it’s a walk of over a mile to get to the walled gardens and Glasshouse but nice exercise!
Would definitely stay again.
One word Disappointed

Kitchen doors were hanging off when opened. It was very small compared to
Other lodges we have stayed in. The gardeners cottage was outdated and in need of remodernising
The shower only trickled water
The lounge was very small to seat 6 persons and we had to bring chairs in to seat everyone
Would not recommend this cottage to anyone

My friends and I had an amazing time at The Gardeners Cottage. It was immaculate and everything was perfect. The staff were so friendly and amenable and nothing was a bother. It was well worth the trip and the hot tub was great also. The bedrooms were just perfect. A perfect setting and would definitely go back in a flash could not fault it and the house was lovely and warm too.
