We had an Itison deal for an overnight stay for a murder mystery evening with a 3 course meal and breakfast. We have come with another couple to this event for around five years and always enjoyed it. My only criticism would be that the venue has stopped using the large round tables this year which were always good for mixing with other patrons, otherwise a good value for money stay and we will be back again next year.

We attended a murder mystery evening on 31st Jan 2026, great fun. Hotel is lovely, food amazing, breakfast had lots to choose from and fresh. Staff friendly and helpful.
Bedroom very clean, excellent shower pressure, coffee and tea available.
Bed very comfortable, good pillows and duvet.
Why won’t we return ?
The bedroom was hot, not warm, very hot, roasting. We couldn’t sleep, left the window open all night and it made no difference. No way to turn the heating off and it stays on all night, we had hoped it would turn off during the night but the hotel staff says they can’t control the temperature, it’s either on or off, so they leave it on.
We heard at least another 5 rooms complain about it. We left early to go home, we did have late check out but couldn’t bear to be in that room any longer, back home to get a sleep, shattered.

Was warm and friendly.
The dinner was average, the service was very good.
The murder mystery was very amateurish ( no real mystery to it !)
The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good .

Myself and sister attended the murder mystery overnighter, as part of a birthday treat, we both enjoyed it, food was brilliant fantastic value for money, staff interaction was superb, Only downsize was the shower cubicle was a bit of a struggle to get in and out off.

Brilliant night at fishers. Murder mystery was great fun and the meal was lovely. Room was lovely and clean and the breakfast was delicous as there was lots to choose from

Nice hotel in centre of Pitlochry. Warm, comfortable and nice bar, The Coach House, was lively to sit in and service and food lovely however expect Pitlochry prices which are probably on par with London!

Staff as always were great, food was nice the room we got number 63 was spacious only two negative points to mention 1. The bathroom was clean apart from the shower product dispensers very mouldy not good luckily we use our products easy fix for your house cleaners. 2. Not your fault really the early morning wake up call from the train station not great when you have had a drink at your Xmas party night. That besides we had a great evening thanks

Fisher’s Hotel is a very good hotel. Staff are very helpful,food was excellent.
The only problem we had was the bedrooms were too hot and we couldn’t get the window to open just slightly it was all or nothing.
Everything else was great.
