A friendly welcome certainly awaits you from the very hospitable owner Javin and all the staff at the hotel ..
the ambience is very homely with real Scottish charm. the chef should also be commended for his culinary skills .. from breakfast, to small starter bites to “specials” and not to forget the cheese board .. all an absolute delight .. Ailean Chraggan ticks all the boxes .. a winning recipe x

We had a lovely stay at this small family hotel. Hosts and staff were welcoming and friendly. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. We stayed in The Tummel room which was roomy and cosy with a big walk in shower in the modern bathroom.

What a find! This small delightful country hotel sits in its own grounds close to Wade's bridge over the River Tay on the outskirts of Aberfeldy.
We were warmly welcomed and looked after in a friendly and attentive manner throughout.
Our spacious bedroom featured a small lounge in which to relax. Furnishings are in the tradition of a highland lodge, but in contrast our en-suite shower room was of the highest standard.
However it was the food that really impressed and clearly is the main attraction. Carnivores and vegetarians are equally catered for from the appetising menu - the best venison I've ever tasted, whilst a most generous Beetroot & Vegetarian HaggisWellington, hit the spot.
A real "find". We arrived as strangers and left as friends. We will certainly return.

Everything was cosy and comfortable and in beautiful autumnal countryside. Delicious food for dinner and breakfast . Log fire was welcoming and warm as was Javen and all the staff. A very enjoyable few days

Hotel pretty much as expected friendly staff good food large bedroom plenty of parking spaces.Large picture windows could do with a good clean as the spoilt the lovely views. I would recommend staying here and would certainly stay again.

Loved our stay here. The rooms are lovely, the showers in particular are great! Food is really tasty and massive portions! The staff are very friendly. The bar area is really cosy. 15/20minute walk into Aberfeldy proper, lots to do and see around. Great place! Will be back.

Nice place , our room was nice and food was very good. Great value for the money. Lovely views from bar /restaurant. We would return and enjoyed our weekend .Only issue was the shower was not very warm on both days, this probably needs attention.
