Our guide was knowledgeable and very pleasant. Moving around the ship(barque - we did learn things😁) was not too difficult considering one of our party had some walking difficulties but a lift has been installed so no one should be put off.
The afternoon tea was enjoyable and staff pleasant and helpful.if travelling by public transport the Govan subway is very handy leading to the new pedestrian bridge which takes you right out at the Glenlee and Museum. However it developed a fault on the day we visited so we had to retrace our steps to Govan Subway and head to Partick. This is not so convenient and we almost missed the tour start. It was operational at the end of the afternoon so all was good in the end but worth keeping in mind.

The tour of the ship was led by Lauren. She was clearly passionate about The Glenlee. She was incredibly knowledgeable about it's history and brought it to life so well with information she'd gleaned from research and with her own theories and anecdotes. I would absolutely recommend this tour.
We also had afternoon tea which was delicious. Plenty of sandwiches, the softest scones I've ever eaten and the cakes were all beautifully fresh, well presented and tasty.
The only thing I would caution is that the afternoon tea follows the tour so I was quite hungry by the time it ended, especially as Lauren extended it so she could enthusiastically share more with us.

Guide was excellent and obviously passionate about the vessel, it's history and continued preservation.
