We had a lovely evening with attentive friendly staff. The lentil poppadums and man bread were absolutely divine and the best I have ever had. The food was super and I enjoyed the cauliflower and the sea bream. I tried the crab and it was delicious too. Overall really enjoyed the tasting menu.

Incredibly tasty food, cooked with passion and flair. Ajay takes superlative care in his selection of suppliers, so the ingredients are top for taste and quality. Every dish had layers of flavour that we've never before experienced. The 4 course menu we enjoyed exceeded all expectations, and left us totally satisfied . . . and very full. Do not miss this wonderful venue!

Strange Supplement

Went as a party of 12, food was decent. It was the sharing feast for 2 that included 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 sides. For the sides there was a £4 supplement for a plain nan bread, a bit of a con really as you can purchase a plain nan off the à la carte menu for £4. Also a £6 supplement for the only lamb dish on the menu was poor value given the expensive supplement. Limited menu, also kids menu not really suitable for younger kids.

This was my first visit to Ajay Kumar and it was memorable for so many reasons. I was there with a friend and we received a very warm welcome on arrival. It's such a beautiful setting too. The food was simply outstanding - from delicious starters which included scrumptious onion bhajis to the succulent chicken mains. The butter chicken was the best I have tasted in years! There's no doubt that this restaurant is firmly on my places to dine in Glasgow list. Looking forward to my next visit already!

1st visit to Swadish by Ajay Kumar, and it did not disappoint. We had a main a small plate and a side each for my son and I. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and very professional. The restaurant itself is beautfully decorated in calm surroundings. We'll definitely be back.
