Ther was a beautiful place with very friendly staff. Had dinner there one night, which was delicious if a bit try-hard. Stunning location and loved being able to wander around the lake nearby. Enjoyed the sauna + cold swimming.
Knocking off a star as the bed was awful - even in one of most expensive rooms. It was two twin matresses pushed together and both so broken in they gave me hard core nostalgia for boarding school #2.

Loved verything about Monachyle MHOR Hotel. The Courtyard, bedroom, restaurant, staff, service and food. Attention to detail on all of the above was 1st Class.

We had a really great time. Two night stay with lovely room and tasty food. The staff were brilliant and so helpful. The vibe is chilled and relaxing and the weather was dry, sunny and cold- perfect for November.

I booked this initially as a getaway for my husband and I but after doing our research we knew our daughter 26 months would love it, staff, food and facilities all amazing. Would love to return.

Stayed overnight and had dinner. Friendly hotel which manages to be sophisticated, without losing any charm or coziness. Food exceptional and staff attentive. We took a couple of walks around the grounds and slightly further afield - worth seeing the chickens and home grown veg in polytunnels! Not your average hotel and the story of its founding is simply inspiring (it’s in the room information booklet).
