We very much enjoyed our visit to pizza 1926. Aubergine Parmigiana and Arancini made great starters, and great pizzas to follow. Enjoyed the Prosecco too. Highly recommend this restaurant and great value with itison voucher.

A disappointing visit to a usually reliable favourite.

We’ve visited Pizzeria 1926 many times and usually enjoy it, so it was disappointing to find that this visit fell short. The restaurant was very cold, perhaps the heater above the door could have been switched on, and unfortunately, the food was also served cold.
Several of the knives were blunt, which made eating Neapolitan pizza rather difficult, though replacements were eventually provided (despite the initial replacements also being blunt).
To add to the frustration, the deduction for our two-course voucher was calculated incorrectly. It was only a difference of around £2, but by that point, it felt reflective of an overall disappointing experience. Sadly, we won’t be in a hurry to return.
