We loved our stay at the Place.
In the heart of Edinburgh, our room was spacious and well appointed.
The staff were all excellent and made our stay easy and enjoyable.

Very friendly and helpful staff . Arrived to early to check into room we were able to leave our bags with hotel staff , when we arrived back at hotel our bags had been taken to our room . The hotel is very clean and very central within walking distance of everything. Would definitely stay here again .

Fabulous superior room and the bonus of a cocktail at a time to suit. Room was huge and themed, bathroom with free standing bath & double shower cubicle. Comfortable beds. Freshly cooked breakfast. All staff were friendly & helpful. Very close to the Playhouse theatre and plenty shops & restaurants.

Fantastic stay at The Place. Really cool hotel. Love the theme of Scottish authors. Nicely decorated. Beautiful bathroom with large freestanding bath. Comfy bed and one of the most delicious breakfasts ever to wake up to. Totally pampered. We will absolutely be back.

Going to a show at the playhouse and this was ideal. Dinner in the st James quarter, show, then had our complimentary cocktail in the hotel lounge.
Breakfast was individually cooked and very tasty.
We upgraded to a grand and spacious room which by Edinburgh standards it was. Would have welcomed a second chair.

The whole experience was excellent. Staff all very welcoming and friendly. We had arrived early and left our bag which was in our room when we arrived back. The room was huge as was the bathroom with a lovely hug bath. We were given a cocktail on arrival which was lovely and the bar area was very well presented. The bed was very comfortable
Breakfast was excellent with loads of vegetarian options. Would definitely stay again. So close to the buss station was a great location with the tram about a 2 minute walk. Was only disappointed that as we had a concert to go to we didn't get to enjoy the fabulous room more
