The server was very good is explaining the menu and the different courses. We had the tasting menu which was lovely but was very filling. The staff were very courteous and friendly . Would go again.
Signature 13 dish sharing was amazing. Every dish was well thought out, presented and amazing flavours.

Great service, location and dining experience. Great choice of cocktails. The 13 dish sharing was amazing selection of dishes each with their own distinct flavours with various meat, seafood, vegetable and fish dishes. Fully recommend the itison voucher.

Wonderful food in the sharing experience. All the small plates delivered delicious, generous servings. A lot of variety so there is something for everyone’s palate. The twist on the cocktails was great. Really unusual, fresh flavours which paired really well with the food. The staff were without exception, welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. They were fantastic! We’ll definitely be returning and would recommend this restaurant without hesitation."

We used our itison voucher for lunch at Ka Pao, Edinburgh. Everything was brilliant, the friendly and attentive service, the plentiful and tasty small plates and the exceptional value of the meal. We will use itison and eat at Ka Pao again.
Nice food, disappointing service

We had an itison voucher and had been told previously we couldn’t use it on the Friday we booked as they needed 48hrs notice and it was a specialised menu. We rebooked for a Tuesday and it was the same sharing menu as printed on their menus. Service was super slow and staff seemed to be unhappy. Used to really enjoy going but not sure I’ll go back.
A good taster menu

Good selection of different dishes. Bit disappointed that a large plate of green curry was served at the very end when we were full and there was no rice left. We had been told we were being served last three dishes and that was about right. Then the green curry appeared. Questioned the waiter who checked but said it was definitely for us. It was therefore wasted.

I enjoyed Ka Pao. Food is always very tasty and there are lots of different dishes to choose from .

Fantastic service from host. This meal was such a bargain, absolutely stuffed. Dishes were quite spicy so be mindful if you cannot handle the heat. Would have loved a sorbet or dessert at the end of the courses to really finish the tasting menu off
