Wasn’t sure what to expect but staff & volunteers very welcoming- happy to share their experience. Dogs beautifully groomed and well cared for…the huskies happy to be petted and very relaxed- only 1 dog kept in kennel whole time but that was due the dog’s past explained by staff…
Owner was away at time of our visit with many of the huskies, which staff were excited about, due to the possibility that the team of dogs may well become movie stars…
Video about owners journey being a musher was interesting - even thought the hut it was shown in was VERY hot on such a sunny day…
The owner, staff and volunteers are all clearly devoted to the huskies which shows in the calm temperament and excellent condition of these beautiful dogs.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It was very informative and the staff and dogs were excellent. I would definately recommend it to everyone especially anyone that likes dogs.

Great to meet all the dogs who were all very happy to be brushed, cuddles and petted. Owner obviously loves his dogs and short film was amazing to watch about his sled races in Alaska.

Watties story is amazing to hear, my eyes were filling!
Boys (11) and mums (40s) had a great time.
The dogs are beautiful and so well natured, lovely to see how loved and well cared for they are.

Fantastic dogs, very friendly and engaging, my 9 year old friend and I thoroughly enjoyed brushing them, so much hair!!

Visitors, especially children, seemed entranced by the many dogs which lay quietly absorbing all the love and brushing they were getting.
Enough dogs 30+ to ensure the visitors got ample time with individual dogs to thoroughly enjoy the hours they were there.

Great fun petting all the dogs & getting to brush them. Dogs were very well behaved. Good talk about how Huskyhaven is run. Staff very friendly & happy to answer questions.
Great experience with lovely dogs

I visited in February with my daughter. A nice sunny day(which was a bonus!) and the whole thing was well run. Lots of beau, happy, well-behaved dogs to speak to and pet, and an informative video of the founder of the kennels ding a long-distance race in Alaska. We both enjoyed the visit-I’d recommend to anyone who likes dogs.
