The afternoon tea was delicious. Great value. The lady serving us went above and beyond. Gluten free options were great. Surroundings were very homely. Will def be back.
I did not read the small print and did realise until after I bought the itison voucher you can only use Monday to Friday. Something I will look out for going forward

Didn’t know what to expect. Furniture was a bit dated, waitresses were really nice and friendly and food was excellent. All in all great value for money and nice way to spend an afternoon.

The afternoon tea was absolutely faultless. The sandwiches were so tasty and fresh, lovely fluffy scones with jam and clotted cream (butter also an option), nice amount of extra wee cakes - more than enough for two people - also great selection of teas, coffees ad other drinks options. The table service was of a very high standard also. This was a great addition to our visit to the Botanic gardens on an otherwise gloomy January day, Highly recommend.

Food was lovely staff attentive and both myself and my mum got 2 drinks each at no extra charge.
Disappointing one choice of filling for sandwich I scone each and cakes .

So disappointed I sandwich and we had to chose I filling , I scone , 4 cakes and cheese coffee . All the food was lovely and good despite sized but we have always had a selection. When we asked for a carton to take cakes we didn’t eat we were told they don’t do ‘ Takesway ‘ I was so taken aback every establishment give a little box and no one has every referred to it as a takeaway so embarrassing, we did get given napkins to wrap them in but didn’t do the 2 cream cakes much good . Service was good can’t faul that but will definitely note be back .

We enjoyed our afternoon tea at the Botanic Gardens Tearoom.
The sandwiches were fresh, if a little 'chunky', and the cakes and scones were lovely.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The only slight negative were the surroundings. The Tearoom would benefit from some internal and external refurbishment.

Nice choice of sandwiches and teas. Scones were served with clotted cream and jam, but personally I would have liked my scones warmed. There was also mini cakes.
