A great day out

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and wine tasting at Cairn o’ Mohr Winery. Lindsay was a hilarious and very informative tour guide. The wine tasting was a taste sensation. We loved the Pickled Peacock Cafe. The food was great. The winery is funky, fun and full of surprises. We had a wonderful time and would go back again.
I would highly recommend this tour.

Linzey, our tour guide, was excellent, knowledgable, entertaining and made the time fly by. (And we probably bought more in the shop than we intended, but will thoroughly enjoy).
Great place yo visit, quirky

Saturday the 27th of September. Interesting place to visit.
Cafe served the tastiest millionaire shortbread I've ever eaten.
Tour of the winery was delivered by Lyndsey (I hope I've spelt her name correctly) was informative of the wine and cider making process and was amusing and funny.
The wine tasting was a good experience, tasting a selection of wines alcoholic and non alcoholic.
Lots of smiles, informative, and generous sampling

Really enjoyed the tour. Simon was a very entertaining guide, with tales to tell of all the processes and history of the winery through its evolution to today’s business. We got about 9 different tasters, a couple of which were non-alcoholic. The range was super and we would be happy to have many again. Definitely recommended.
Fantastic!

We had a great day out at Cairn O Mohr winery.
The tour guide Rod with his knowledge and sense of humour made the tour very interesting.
For a small winery using local produce there was quite a good range of wines more than we expected, the ones we tasted were all very nice and
a range suitable for all occasions.
Fruit wines and ciders all made in Scotland.
An industry to be proud off.
Good day out where you can also eat in their own restaurant, with good food and cakes before or after the wine tour. Staff were all nice and friendly too.
tour was fab

tour was food fun , linsey was great fun and had great knowledge about cairn o mohr, ghe samples of the wine where a great variety and the shop on site was lovely and the wine prices ranged from £10- £14 per bottle which I found very reasonable, the lady in the shop was lovely and very accommodating. We also visited the pickled Peacock cafe on site beautiful food menu and the decor was lovely and nice outdoor seating area too the staff were so friendly, the only thing that was disappointing What is the price for a bottle of wine £29 which I thought was extortionate when you can get the same bottle in the shop next door for £10, obviously it will be more expensive in the cafe but and £19 upsell is ridiculously steep. but apart from that we had a lovely day out and I would definitely recommen.

2 of 3 of us had never been before but absolutely loved the experience. They thought compère Lindsey was superb and helped make the day along with the excellent variety of wine. Even the weather played ball. Thank you very much
