Swimming pool is great and the afternoon tea was fab!

Staff were very accommodating with us being early, and the afternoon tea was fabulous. Fresh sandwiches, warm scones and plenty to go round! Unfortunately the spa was disappointing on this occasion. The pool was too busy, and the jacuzzi was unfortunately not working and there was only one toilet cubicle available, so had to wait ages to use the loo! Also, couldn’t sit at poolside as there weren’t enough chairs. 3rd visit, a bit disappointed on this occasion. Hopefully just a one-off.

On our Spa day spend time in the pool, steam room sauna and jacuzzi. Lovely facilities.
Then had afternoon tea which was tasty and the scones were so lovely.
Staff really attentive and helpgul

Having a voucher for spa and afternoon tea, we used the spa first it has a lovely pool and steam room although the jacuzzi was difficult for older people to get into, the area was dirty and needed a good clean. Now to afternoon tea this was the WORST afternoon tea we have ever had the sandwiches were like doorsteps and tasteless, poor choice of cakes which look days old and the weakest tea ever! Certainly not worth it and would not recommend it at all

Very enjoyable day at the Angus hotel. Clean, pool wasn’t too cold, got a bit crowded at times. Jacuzzi was a bit of a struggle to get in to, but managed! Only major complaint was that the toilets were in with the shower and only two of them. Had to wait for about 10 minutes to use the toilet, which was occupied by someone taking ages in the shower. Afternoon tea was lovely and service was quick.

The spa was lovely and relaxing. The afternoon tea was fine nothing special it was laid out nice. No offer of more tea or coffee.

The refurbished spa was lovely couldn’t fault it. The afternoon tea was poor quality. Tea arrived but no food appeared until 15 minutes later after we asked where it was. They did replenish the tea. Sandwiches were dry on outside as had been left sitting. Egg (think it was supposed to be egg) was a mayonnaise sandwich with a small piece of egg, ham was half fat, cheese was ok. Scones were small but nice. Cakes were not home baked not appealing so didn’t try them. No finesse all served on large white dinner plates no stand. Lesson learned you get what you pay for it was a cheap deal.
