Delicious pizza

First time to try Sandro’s and pleasantly surprised. Our pizzas were great and had a delicious perfect crust. The service was also excellent. Definitely would recommend.

We enjoyed our lunch at Sandro’s the staff were pleasant and helpful, the view onto The Art Gallery was good as we had a table looking straight across.
The deal was excellent including the wine.
A very good price we added on a cheese desert which finished off our wine.
Overall a very nice experience.

We were hungry and the food was just edible. Food was bland and uninspiring. Very much treated as Itison customers. Small measure of wine and no offer of Parmasen cheese for the pasta dishes. I know it sounds petty but we needed something to pep up the taste of the dishes. We bought two vouchers but only three people could manage. We took the extra glass of wine but the staff did not allow us an alternative to the 4th main course.
The manager had a bit of a flippant attitude and we felt he was quite unwelcoming. When he asked if we enjoyed our food and said it was just ok, he said it must have been good as you have eaten it all. Not very helpful as he knew we were just being polite and it was obvious that we hadn't really enjoyed the food.
The interior of the restaurant is in urgent need of a little TLC. Tacky worn out tables and cheap cutlery and napkins. Never again

We had a pizza each - they were both excellent!
We had a few drinks but also asked for water - and we got it in a carafe with glasses, which was really good. I really like it when a restaurant gives more water than a glass.

To be honest it wasn’t the best. The staff were pleasant but the pasta dishes my friend and I had were just “ok”. The tables etc. were a bit shabby too.
