Great lodge very clean spacious and welcoming.
Fabulous dinner and breakfast was good but the ham used in the eggs Benedict was the cheapest of the cheap not proper ham that was my only fault

the lighting in lodges very poor.
service - our dinner booking was lost, offered another one, only to be informed 1/2 later that a fault in their system meant we could not have that time and then we were offered completely awful times. not impressed at all
also spa offered a special deal after my facial, only to be told they had run out, so very disappointed
very limited choice of beer for the men
they charge 5* prices, but the service/food could be better
the plus points were beds/pillows very comfortable, plus the loch tay views, although there was an extra charge for that view from the spacious lodges

The only negative comment I would make was we felt that menu was lacking. Exact same menu each night which is very unusual

We were upgraded to a beautiful room with our 2 dogs.Excellent food and service. Beautiful situation.Couldnt find fault with anything.

Rooms and food were excellent. Spa was disappointing- no drinking water (albeit it was later in the day). Only appeared to be one steam room working and only cold shower working.

We stayed one night and got upgraded to a Castle Room which was lovely. From the minute we arrived we had a great experience . The concierge Davie was very friendly and took time to chat to all the guests and make sure everyone was comfortable. We had dinner on the 1892 restaurant and the food was lovely . Service was a bit slow in the restaurant, our wine order didn’t arrive at the table until we asked about it after the started had arrived, and no one attempted to refill our wine at all during dinner ( which was fine as we refilled our own wine glasses but not what we expect at at a 5 star hotel).

Fabulous dinner bed and breakfast deal which we used for an early Mothets Day treat at this hotel. Managed to get an early check in and we used the spa facilities too. The food and serve were top notch. Highly recommend 👌🏻
