I have stayed at the Grand on numerous occasions and they have all equally good. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are also very good. Overall a relaxing stay.

Beautifully furnished clean hotel very grand just like its name (Grand Hotel). There was nothing I could find that could be improved.

We have been going to the Grand twice a year for about 5 years and love it.
The hotel faces out to the sea and if you can get a sea view room the view is splendid.
The hotel is clean and very comfortable, it has a very relaxing atmosphere.
The breakfast is freshly cooked and the evening meals either in the bar or restaurant are of great quality.
The rooms are very clean and have walk in showers in most rooms (check with hotel).
Tynemouth is a 5 minute walk up the road with lovely shops and plenty of cafes.
I would recommend this hotel and we will certainly be back

Had a really lovely stay at the Grand. Staff were great and helpful. Loved sitting in the lounge and the view of Long Ssnds was amazing. Will be back again soon

We've been to the Grand several times now. As lovely as ever this time.
At 84 and 87, we travel by bus then Metro. Takes about an hour.
A sea view room with Prosecco on ice waiting for us.
Entertaining to watch the activities on the beach and in the water.
Everything a high standard.
Outstanding staff.
I mentioned that the hairdryers could do with being replaced as they are old, heavy and clumsy.
But we'll be back later in the year.
It's a real treat for us.
