Ups and downs

Before going you should be informed of the £50 a night deposit for charges against your room. Some people might not be able to afford that expense. Breakfast is delicious if not very disjointed and long almost an hour from taking the table to leaving. Seems like it was always understaffed!!

We were very impressed with The Grand Hotel. It has been refurbished beautifully and the breakfasts were delicious, cooked to order, therefore lovely and fresh.

Our favourite hotel to visit & a great location

We know this hotel so well so everything went as expected. Ellen & Racheal on reception know us anyway. The Itison no. 3 option went very well. Ate in the Drawing Room on our 1st night with our £25 allowance per person & then in Copperfields bar for the 3rd night. Breakfast each morning allowed plenty of choice. We did plenty of walking in an around Tynemouth. Weather forecast was light rain throughout but got a away with it. Parking outside the hotel is pot luck We got a space on arrival & never shifted the car thereafter.
