A beautiful hotel.

A lovely stay . We booked our next stay as we checked out. As with all hotels of the era that the hotel was built in it has all the “pros” and cons that effect a building of its age. We had a pleasant room with all modern conveniences, the staff were friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our breakfast on the 1st morning and it was resolved after discussion with the restaurant manager on the second day..
The hotel certainly has a certain grandeur ( no pun attended) and that just adds to the overall experience.

The Hotel exceeded our expectations, our sea view room was great and the view outstanding. We ate in the Hotel on both of the nights we stayed, Good food and great value.
Tynemouth is a lovely town, beach is right on Hotel's doorstep and we walked along coast in both directions, Whitley Bay to the left and North Shields to the right, both good walks although the town centre of Whitley Bay is disappointing. Tynemouth has plenty bars / restaurants to choose from. We'd certainly return.

Another wonder stay at Grand Hotel Tynemouth

Cannot fault the Grand Hotel. The rooms are lovely with comfortable beds and pillows. The breakfasts are fantastic and though we didn’t eat in the main dining room for dinner, Copperfields has great food and friendly staff.
