For lunch we decided fed on the small fish & Chios dish… this was very greasy & couldn’t be eaten.

We had a lovely relaxing time and even though the spa area was busy, it didn't feel crowded. We had lots of choice of two saunas two steam rooms two jacuzzis. Great! Changing rooms were spacious and clean with private showers and hairdryers, the lunch was beautiful and all staff were very friendly.

Ended up being a very expensive day out. Paid £135 for itison voucher got charged additional £40 when we arrived (was in small print) then an additional £40 for soft drinks and add ons at lunch. Lunch wasn't great not much choice and onion rings and mushrooms over cooked. Overall cost £215, definitely not worth it.

We throughly enjoyed our spa treatments. Staff were lovely and treatments were great. I am pregnant and was treated with nothing but care. We were extremely disappointed with the lunch afterwards which unfortunately dampened the day. We have previously visit with the same package and were offered an allowance for normal menu as opposed to separate lunch menu which was extremely basic. Neither myself or mum eat mushrooms and the options were a mushroom soup, breaded mushrooms or pate (which I cannot currently eat due to being pregnant). We ended up having 1 bread roll each and were offered no alternative. Not sure why 2/3 starters would contain mushrooms or at least an alternative soup should be offered. People around us had sent the mushrooms back and were saying they were not fresh. Not service we would expect from the Hilton or from the money paid for the spa day. We could hear many people around us who were also unhappy. We noted someone had asked to complain to the duty manager who was yet to arrive once we left (over an hour later). Ann- Marie from our perspective did not handle nor listen to concerns raised well, and in fact threw a young colleague under the bus and said it was “her fault because she’s new”. Our mains took at least 45 minutes to arrive after our bread roll “starters”. We would’ve had dessert but by this point was fed up waiting.
Extremely disappointed as we have been for lunch at the Hilton numerous times but this service is not what we would expect for the money paid. We were extremely shocked no alternatives to meals were offered.
