All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the size of our room and the view from our window. The decor is a bit tired but it was spotless. The food was very good and overall the service was good apart from breakfast on our first morning when it was a bit slow and disorganised.

Beautiful village, very peaceful. Great room, comfy bed, good shower. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast, high quality ingredients. Lovely lounge with open fire. Ample free parking. Excellent regular bus service to North Berwick and other places. Dirleton Castle and dovecot (opposite hotel) worth visit. Yellowcraig beach nearby, walkable or can drive and park close by..

This was our first visit since new owners took over. Nicole on reception was excellent and very polite to us. Food was very good at both dinner and breakfast however dinner staff seemed to lack leadership. They were all very polite but meal took much longer than expected. I'm sure it will settle down soon.
