this was a lovely night out the lights were amazing we went to the gannet restaurant the cullin skink was perfect a meal in itsself

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit the the giant lanterns. The zoo looked beautiful lit up at night and the lanterns were amazing.
The savings through the itison ticket was fantastic and the hot drink and marshmallows went down a treat.
The kids and adults both had a great time and we spent 2 hours at it. Good value for money

We absolutely loved the lantern trail and we wandered round for much longer than we anticipated. There was so much to see and the trail was beautiful. It was busy without being too crowded and we really enjoyed it.
Pleased we got itison vouchers as the toasted marshmallows and hot chocolate went down a treat.
It would be good to have a couple more fire available for the marshmallows and we queued quite a while for the hot chocolate - although it was tasty and worth it! We weren't quite sure where we could use the hot chocolate tokens so better signage and information on that would be helpful - theres we're a few snack bars and cafes open but we weren't sure if the token could be used in all of them.
It would be good to have a reminder to take your parking ticket into the zoo and to pay for parking in the shop on the way out. We'd left ours in the car, then queued at the machine for ages only for the machine to not accept contactless payment so we had to head back to the shop which was just about to close.
We had a brilliant night, well worth the trip through to Edinburgh. Would recommend and would come back again.

The Lanterns were fantastic to see, easy at arrival with my Itison voucher and it was great to have a hot choc and toasted marshmallows courtesy of our vouchers.

We arrived in two cars, driving for 90 mins to get there , with 5 year old twins. From the moment we arrived, they were enchanted- the lanterns were wonderful- not too many people, so didn't wait long for drinks and the children are still full of excitement about it. Thank you

We returned having taken our daughter to the event in 2018. We enjoyed our experience however, were extremely annoyed that after queuing to park there were no spaces and we were then left to find alternative parking and were late for the event. Had we taken our elderly parents we would have had to have gone home. This needs to be considered when selling tickets as clearly oversold.

Me, husband and our 3 years old had a great evening fun at the giant lanters in edinburgh zoo, we all loved it. Warm drinks and marshmallows as part of the tickets were great too

We absolutely loved the giant lanterns at Edinburgh Zoo. We went at 7.15pm and it wasnt too busy so we were able to fully enjoy the whole display. The path was easy to follow and my 6 year old managed it no problem. A lovely night for all the family. We got the Itison deal which included a hot drink and marshmallows which was super.
