Cheerful efficient welcome.
Room clean and comfortable. 4 flights up though, with a lift to the third. Not a problem for us, but worth a check if you have mobility issues.
The evening meal was very good, service was a little slow, the whole meal took nearly two hours. But the staff were working well and quite a few were on the breakfast service next day.
The entertainment, Oceans 3 were good, sang well with a nice line in chat.
Good nights sleep. Room was warm, some odd noises occasionally , so take ear plugs if you are noise sensitive.
Breakfast was excellent.
A very nice stay. Well worth it.

We stayed for 1 night for the Rat Pack dinner and show. The hotel it's beautiful and we were given a massive room which was immaculate. The dinner was really good and plenty staff ensured swift service. The band were good too and it was an enjoyable stay however how on earth does a hotel or this stature run out of draught beer both in the function hall and the bar upstairs? Took the edge off what should have been a 5 star review from me. Almost forgot breakfast was good too.

Booked in for Rat Pack tribute, the entertainment, Oceans 3, were fantastic! The food, however, was a bit disappointing. At our table of 10 there was only one meal which was hot, the rest was luke warm at best. When one of our party mentioned it to the waiter he said the plates were hot! Menus said my meal came with seasonal veg-it was one wiltws spear of long stem broccoli. They also ran out of draught lager, we were told there was a problem with the gas. One of our party was a bar manager and offered to help but was then told that the managers of the hotel are changing brewery and let the lagers run out! This was very disappointing as the hotel was extremely busy and most of the men were looking for a nice cool pint.
At breakfast it was self service, plenty to choose from but again it was just warm. One the plus side, the room was spotless and the staff were very nice. We just expected our food to be hot and to be able to get a draught lager, this should have been sorted for weekends when they have over 200 guests staying.

The hotel was lovely, our first trip! Staff were great, food was good and overall a fabulous time was had!
Our experience was spoiled by the battery charges was not working.

We did not enjoy our stay we were assured before hand they had car chargers and working.
When we got there they were not working.

Only comment i would make is while the show was good, apart from a short break, lasted 3 hrs. Too long, and a comment made by others.

Nice but we wore our coats during dinner and show it was cold and they need to Reduce price of bottles of wine , ridiculous shocking prices for a bottle of Chardonnay etc

Delighted with our room, it had every amenity. Lovely view of the hills around and very spacious. We had afternoon tea which was delicious and breakfast was good too.
The Rat Pack experience was disappointing as we were taken to the dining room at 7pm but the entertainment did not commence until 9.15 ....far too long a wait and there was no music or any prelude. The staff had to work hard to serve the 170 people with drinks and dinner but it was acceptable.
