First impression: The room was warm &, on a bitterly cold February day that was a joy. Then, the rest: room & shower room very clean. And, talking about very clean, I have never seen tables & chairs cleaned so thoroughly, efficiently & fuss- free. The staff were really helpful & friendly - they are a big plus to the business! I was happy to eat in the restaurant both night (fish pie recommended!) I really enjoyed staying there and it was a super base for exploring Fife.

We decided not to book after being shouted at down the phone to not bother coming when I called to ask about the uneven surfaces. Itison also refused a refund.
Good value for money and good food at both breakfast and dinner

Room was clean and cosy but a bit on the small side and a bit tired . We were staying with our dog not sure if this played a part in the room we were allocated
No hooks to hang outdoor coats other than on the inside of bathroom door .
Staff very very helpful and attentive although did try to charge us a weekend supplement when it was obvious from our voucher that this was not applicable .

We had a very enjoyable 3 day stay. Room was spotlessly clean and very warm. We must say the food was delicious with a good varied menu. The breakfast menu is excellent again with a wide choice. All freshly made and well served by the delightful staff. A nice touch that they wear gloves as they serve your meals.

Nice big room. Only negative in this review is the shower which was offset from the centre with poor pressure. Room was nice and warm. Breakfast and dinner excellent. Ideally situated if driving and a bus stop for St Andrews right outside.
