We only live an hour or so away. We go to The Waterside because it’s a great place to relax. The staff are fantastic, the spa is small but very nice and the food is excellent. There’s lots to do around and the walks along the river are lovely.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
However, the rooms are looking a bit tired, bathroom needs modernised and while the bathroom was clean, the grouting was in need of a refresh.
Food was very average, breakfast ok but nothing was very hot. For the evening meal, my mashed potato was straight out of a packet and chicken dry. Sorry !

Have stayed on many occasions, meals very tasty, plentiful choice for breakfast which I may add is excellent. Staff pleasant and helpful. Have made good use of the late checkout and the bottle of wine in the room, but still to try out the leisure facilities. Hotel bar very reasonable priced for alcohol. Only downside is the bathrooms need updating but on a whole rooms very clean. Look forward to my return visit after the new year

Took advantage of a great deal on itison for the waterside for my girlfriends birthday as we did last year and we had a great time as always in the hotel staying from friday to sunday . The staff the rooms the food at night and at breakfast cant be faulted and add in the free use of pool sauna gym etc and plenty of parking at the hotel it all adds up to a great relaxing trip away .The itison deal also includes a 3 course meal on the 1st night which is well worth it as the food is very good with a decent choice and it also includes a late check out at 12 aswell .This is my 5th stay here and will be back again soon and would highly reccommend to anyone looking for a great value couple of nights away in a great hotel 👍

Staff were lovely and friendly, food was pretty good and the Spa facility was great. Room was warm, quiet and clean. Lost a star as the decor was very tired and above windows needed replastering, but would definitely stay there again.

We stay at the Waterside a few times a year, the rooms are clean and well presented. The food is really good. The staff are also friendly and professional. Our favourite Scottish Hotel

The waterside was great for me to have a short break with my granddaughter. The staff were all very pleasant and the hotel itself was clean and tidy. We particularly enjoyed the pool. It was lovely and not too busy. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and evening meal. The haddock was excellent. Great value for money and will visit again.
