Would definitely go back, the free parking behind the hotel was available. Great bakery across from hotel.😋
Excellent value in a traditional comfortable hotel

We were enjoying a return visit to The Winnock which we enjoy when hillwalking, and have stayed often before. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the price is very good, as is the quality of the food.
The room is a good size, clean and comfortable. We will be returning again before the end of the year.
Lovely staff, great food

We originally booked to stay Monday 27th April but had to postpone due to a medical emergency. Thankfully Julie was very accommodating and moved booking to Sunday 3rd May instead. We arrived about 1 hr before normal check-in time and opted to have a drink outdoors as rooms weren't ready. Lots of folk staying were travelling up the West Highland Way. Going to our room at the far end of hotel (no81) i was happy to see a spacious, well presented double room with large ensuite. Decorated in purple which happens to be my favourite colour too! We took a short walk around the village and decided to go to The Drymen Inn as they'd a singer on Sunday 5pm-9pm. Back to hotel for our included 2 course dinner. Seated in the main dining room, we were given menu and opted for melon (serving was very functional with not a lit in the glass. Mine's was a very tasty tattie and leek soup with bread roll. Hubby chose loin of Ayrshire pork whilst my main was Supreme of chicken, very filling with seasonal veg. No room for a pudding for me but hubby went for cream filled profiteroles. I'd a latte and we'd ordered wine with dinner so only had a bill of £39 over cost of voucher. When headed back to room, the bed was comfortable but pillows need replacing as 2 on bed were very thin and squishy. For £99, this was a great deal and included continental or cooked breakfast. Happy with deal overall and would go back.
Very pleasant, restful and good value
