Use of the leisure centre was enjoyable.
Service was very good and friendly and the surroundings pleasant and comfortable. It was lovely and unexpected to have a glass of Prosecco. We weren’t told about it but expected to pay after we’d ordered it. Neither were we given a choice of teas although that didn’t bother us unduly.
However the food was disappointing. Although the scones were excellent and some of the cakes very good, the sandwiches left a lot to be desired. Cheese spread and shaved cucumber not good. The egg in the sandwiches didn’t seem fresh nor was the quantity of filling satisfactory. The ham used was not particularly good quality and most of the bread was very dry.
I was embarrassed to have asked a friend.

The savoury parts of the food being the soup, sausage rolls, quiche and arinchine balls were all bordering on cold very unpleasant to eat snd the cakes seamed to be from cash and carry quality all in all very disappointed that sad to say will be our last time there

A very generous (and special) afternoon tea in a lovely, relaxing environment. Attentive staff. Pity they had run out of Earl Grey tea.

It was both my mum's friends 80th and they had the most wonderful time and over the moon with the venue, service and lovely staff.

My friend and I had a lovely relaxing time at Dalmahoy for afternoon tea. Food was very good and the young lady who served us was extremely friendly. There was no hurry and the Pentland room is so elegantly furnished. You sit and look out onto well maintained gardens. I’ve been several times before and service is always first class.

Greeted by a very pleasant young man who showed us to our table. He then got us our tea and coffee. Followed by a small cup of soup. Sandwiches and cakes were lovely. We were looked after amazingly. We then went to the swimming pool it was like getting into the bath my was lovely and warm were used the sauna and steam rooms too. A very enjoyable afternoon.

A good but not great afternoon tea

Lovely sandwiches but bread not super fresh. Think they had been sitting out before arrival. Haggis bon bon delicious as was cup of soup. Scones excellent. Only had 2 of the cakes- lemon one delicious and light. Carrot cake felt as if it had been sitting out like sandwiches- hard at edges.

We enjoyed our experience It was as expected with a variety of delicious food , and a lot of it ! Seconds of tea & coffee served willingly. Can’t think of anything to make it better!
