A very relaxing stay with good food and service

The hotel is well located with spectacular uninterrupted views across the North Channel. The room was comfortable and clean although some of the windows need replacing. The evening meal and breakfast were of a decent standard. Overall I enjoyed my stay and have no reservations in recommending the hotel

The rooms are dated, but spacious with everthing we needed. The staff were friendly and chatty. We had food included in our stay and it was tastey, although the mash potato was a bit reminicent of school dinners. The bar in the hotel has a great outlook over the harbour and was cheaper than the bars in town. The hotel is on a very steep slope. Our car parking was also included.

Shower was at best Luke warm and breakfast was extremely poor as the cooked breakfast was obviously cooked earlier and left to dry out and end up burnt.

Staff friendly and helpful. Got upgraded to a sea view room for no extra charge. Breakfast lovely.
Staff were great but the boiler was broken so it was very cold outside the bedroom.

Staff were excellent. On reporting that the shower wasn't working they immediately moved us into another room.

Had a great stay at the hotel, although I found it very disappointing that guest are charged for parking in the hotel car park.
