I was annoyed I was charged in full initially my itson voucher had not been deducted even though I had given my voucher details when I arrived.
I also originally had booked for Saturday with my daughter when I didn’t receive a confirmation email I phoned to confirm my booking only to be told I wasn’t booked ! And they were fully booked for sat. ! So had to use the voucher with a friend on the weds, on the Fri evening I received a call from the terrace saying yes I had booked sat and would I still be going as they had misspelt my confirmation email really annoying as my daughter had been looking forward to going and I had taken the blame for not booking correctly when actually I had booked .

My husband and I had a lovely 2 course lunch (with wine). There were enough menu choices for all courses to find something we liked, and the food was plentiful and delicious, The waitress service was excellent with friendly "smiley" staff. We will return at a later date.

We were really looking forward to our lunch at The Terrace, and on arrival, our hopes rose even more. The venue itself is beautiful, the views over the gardens spectacular. Unfortunately, the food spoiled the overall experience. The starters seemed like pre-prepared plates which had just been reheated, and the mains were similarly underwhelming. The seasoning was wrong, the fries were undercooked, the vegetables were overcooked, the burger reminded my partner of something from Iceland, and my main of steak pie was the only thing that tasted halfway decent. Such a shame that the food didn’t live up to the aesthetic promises of the venue. Most disappointing, I’m afraid.

Great lunch here, really enjoyed the options and the environment. It was very busy as there was a performance on but the staff coped well. Food quality excellent loved the coffee choices too. Will definitely visit again.

the staff were very efficient and service was good ,the food was ok just not enough of it really .ie 6 large chips on my plate . i would not like to pay full price for what we got . ok with itison tho
