There was a delay in our order being taken due to miscommunication between servers. However our order arrived in a timely fashion and was well presented and tasty.

Atmosphere and surroundings were tremendous.
We have been before and been disappointed, so on this occasion we weren't sure how it would go, but had heard some good feedback
Needn't have been concerned,the staff were friendly and most accommodating. The food was first rate and we both enjoyed the experience.
We agreed that we would be back soon..
My starter inedible ……. The main course came with hasselback potatoes which were burned black and hard ..

I gave voucher to my my Brother for Christmas he went with my other Brother they had an amazing time food was fabulous

We were greeted by a friendly waitress and shown to our table. A bottle of water was provided while we perused the menus.
Once we had ordered, our food was brought to us very quickly. Everything was hot and delicious.
I would definitely recommend this venue for an afternoon dinner and we will be returning
The Terrace Restaurant - A Return Visit Well Worth Making

Having dined here before, we returned with high expectations - and the Terrace did not disappoint.
We began by sharing the fishcake starter, which was genuinely outstanding. For the main course, we both opted for the fish and chips, and it was spot on - fresh, well prepared, and perfectly presented. To finish, we shared the cheesecake, which rounded off the meal beautifully.
We accompanied the meal with a bottle of house white wine, which proved to be a very pleasant choice and complemented the food well.
The staff were warm and attentive throughout, adding to what was already a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. The Terrace continues to impress, and we will certainly be back.

My friend & I enjoyed a lovely lunch in comfortable surroundings at The Terrace at HMT. Prompt service & a good range of choice from the menu. Sea bass was delicious! Finished off with chocolate mousse washed down with a generous glass of house wine!

Unfortunately was cold, and most people were sitting with their jackets on.
Not sure if it was the air con, or the bad weather blowing in, to make it so cold upstairs.
