Lovely setting, great room, friendly staff

I loved everything about it, but the food left a bit to be desired. Coleslaw came with no fork. A loaded cheese panini had the thinnest amount of cheese inside it and it was also burnt. Mac n cheese was just Mac n cheese with no chips or salad. And it was a fairly small bowl, given it cost £12.00.
Dissapointing

Cleanliness of the bathroom in our room was bad
Black mould on the tiles and sealer
Breakfast was poor , Coffee machine needed topping up with coffee and milk and itook too long to remedy this , hot food came out in dribs and drabs ,staff were nice but someone in charge needs to look at the hotel closely as the above are basics
Very friendly staff

The hotel is under fairly new ownership and they have obviously made some improvements but they still have a lot to do.
Exterior at front and sides all freshly painted. Rear of hotel which is seen from bedrooms needs painting.
Good sized free car park right at rear of hotel. Nice picnic benches on white gravel outside spa area but too many weeds which should be removed. First impressions mean a lot
Bedroom was very comfortable. Superking bed. Large smart TV. Tea coffee and good quality toiletries. New toilet and washbasin but bath panel and silicon round bath very poor.
Staff on reception and at breakfast very friendly
Great buffet breakfast on the Sunday morning. Breakfast on Monday morning served .
Unfortunately swimming pool was not available although looking through the windows it looked very nice as did the gym.
The experience at Lomond Hill Hotel was really relaxing and enjoyable

Really nice couple of nights at Lomond Hills Hotel with my friend. The room was nice and the beds were really comfortable. Small pool and sauna but still perfect and not really busy when we went. Good gym as well where I managed to do my strength session.
The staff was also really lovely.
The only negative point for me was the breakfast which was pretty poor. I normally love a hotel breakfast but there was nothing continental at all just a few different cereals, normal bread, just some yogurts and cooked breakfast which isn’t really my thing. Only scrambled and fried eggs on offer as well.
Despite this we still spent 2 really nice days/nights there
Very clean and staff very nice

Great experience. Better than expected.
Basic

We stayed for two nights and found the staff to be friendly and helpful, which was a real positive. However, the hotel itself was very basic and felt like it was lacking something, with furnishings that came across as quite cheap. Apart from the bed which was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the pool was also out of order for one of the days, which was disappointing and impacted our stay.
Hotel well below average, will definitely not return and would not recommend.

Hotel in need of complete renovation. Carpets dirty, paintwork grotty. Bedroom tiny with fire escape stirs over window. Passcode to be entered on door handle, very cumbersome. Breakfast was third rate. Some items inedible. Scrambled eggs were solid on the top and fried eggs like plastic, both had been under heat lamps for hours. Tea was served in takeaway cup. The room had trestle tables over the windows. Not one member of staff was available to help.
