The management are in disarray,no one seems to know what is going on...its a free for all.....
We were overcharged for meals on the menu,which were included on the voucher and we had chosen before arrival,as requested in an e mail from the hotel
When we arrived the room wasnt ready,staff on reception were rude,namely Lewis. Then we were told to disregard the meals chosen previously and we could choose from the dinner menu. We were given drinks vouchers which were also included in the voucher....then they charged us for drinks and dinner!!
Monies returned as soon as I queried it on the day of leaving......only to be re charged 2 months later!!
Had to contact my Credit card provider to claim the money back,as the Hotel didnt respond to my phone call or email....just sending a receipt.
Now I have my refund with said second receipt....no apology ...nothing.
Total SHAMBLES.
Will NEVER be back...
but have to say Liam in the dining and breakfast room was fabulous,helpful and courteous.
The management could learn a lot from him
I hope they appreciate his hard work!!

I booked a voucher with welcome basket of chocolate strawberries, shortbread and bottle of prosecco. On arrrival there was no basket in the room. Queried with reception who informed me that this deal was no longer running. Voucher code was checked and it was confirmed that this was the deal that I had purchased. A bottle of prosecco was then provided and complimentary robes and slippers were to be brought to the room however these never arrived.

We had an itison voucher which was a very good deal . All staff friendly and courteous. Out allocated wasn’t suitable but the receptionist was able to provide an alternative which was perfect. We ate in on the first night and there was plenty of choice. Breakfast was the usual buffet type. We used the spa which was small but quiet . Location is great and plenty of local pubs and restaurants. Would recommend the “church “

Very nice local hotel in the middle of the town with plenty shops and amenities on hand. Lovely room with a very comfy bed. Very good buffet breakfast and a nice evening meal in the cosy restaurant. Overall a great relaxing break away from the city. Lovely scenery in the surrounding area.

Great hotel to spend a few days in. Upgraded room though small had a cracking walk in shower, comfy beds and big tv.
Food was delicious in restaurant and a good breakfast to start the day.
Staff friendly and welcoming and leisure facilities though small were a great bonus.
Would recommend and return.

Welcoming, very clean and cosy, super comfortable room and lounge/dining areas, wonderful food, excellent leisure pool and very friendly efficient staff. Had a superb 2 night stay with friends and we’ll definitely return ☺️.

We enjoyed the warmth and ambience of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Food was delicious, and also had great porridge at breakfast, which is a rarity these days.
The pool and spa facilities were lovely too.
Enjoyable relaxed environment to catch up with friends and chill out.
