Sunday roast was barely warm when it arrived probably due to being plated on cold plates. When the dessert arrived of crumble and custard it hadn’t been properly cooked and was cold and the custard was also cold. Staff also appeared inexperienced and with English being one of the staffs second language she found it difficult to understand our drinks order and my drink was the wrong one when it arrived. Will not be returning

Organised a Sunday lunch for my Mum’s birthday, very poor service. It would appear none of the staff understood the menu, we were served incorrect drinks twice, having to ask if we could order drinks as no one came to our table.
The roast was cold, and of poor quality, the Yorkshire pudding was soggy, vegetables hard and hardly any gravy. In terms of dessert, my partner and step dad were served uncooked oats, and when challenged, was assured they were cooked but clearly were not, as a customer, I would be expecting an apology not a challenge. The waitress did take it back when asked and had to wait almost 30 minutes for a new one, which my mum and I had already finished.
Overall a very poor experience, would not recommend to family or clients going forward and certainly will not be returning for any food or drinks.

We expected better quality from a 4 star hotel. Main Sunday lunch was a reasonable plate of food but it was served on a cold plate which meant food cooled or got cold very quickly especially the Yorkshire pudding.
The sweets were ok.
Having had other Sunday lunches elsewhere it wasn’t up to the same standard.

Very fatty meat , cold food , cold plates , no service person was even visible after food delivered to us . Was given wrong food and told it would be 10/15 minutes to change to what was ordered , for 1 person in party.
We were told the other food could be put into a hot box till they got the order right.
Bad , bad , bad !
I called, explained all this and was invited back for a repeat .
I declined.
