This is the second time I’ve been to Maggie’s rock and rodeo and it didn’t disappoint with host Gary and Maggie and her line dance team and the gentleman singer who was very good too it was a fun afternoon with some great line dancing involved and the dance off at the end so much fun . And what a great team of dancers yesterday. Xx loved taking part and watching their floor show dances . Never ate at Maggie’s yesterday however I did before as part of the package and the food was very nice surprisingly sounds bad to say that but sometimes at themed events it can be a bit worse for wear but not in Maggie’s hoedown. With everyone loving the Mac and cheese not my dish so I had chicken. Would recognise the afternoon hoedown for a fun afternoon out with friends or family .
Excellent venue, friendly helpful staff

Excellent venue, clean, fab prices and the food is amazing. Despite being given the wrong time the rodeo started we still had a great night as the staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive. They organised a refund there and had kept us a table so we could still enjoy our evening. Great recovery and I’d highly recommend.
Missed event completely!

I purchased this experience as a gift and was so disappointed when we got to the venue and we had actually missed the event. The time stated on our tickets was 6pm and we were led down to the event area where we realised it was just finishing. We were approached by the lady on the door who informed us that there had been an error with our tickets and we’d missed the whole event as it had started early afternoon. She was really lovely and apologetic and we were assured that we would get a refund which is fine but it’s gutting as we were looking forward to it.

The mix of live music, entertainment and line dancing left a wonderful impression of Glasgow and its people.
The simple "one man, one guitar" live acts left me in awe at not just their talent but also their ability to entertain and mix the music up in response to the room.
The "host" led compère was excellent: funny, bold, and sang like a dream, keeping the evening going at a great pace with typical Glasgow humour throughout.
Maggie delivering the line dancing is a consummate professional and you can see the love for it in every move and comment, a truly enjoyable experience.
