Nice course

Bought as a gift for Partner. He said it was a unique course, flat with tree lined fairways. You need to park on city centre & walk across to course.
Everyone we met there was friendly and welcoming. They were justifiably proud of their course.

Been wanting to play this course for a year or two. Finally it happened and not disappointed. Best played with a stand bag as it is a bit awkward to get to over a bridge with stairs at both ends over the river. Not a particularly long course but enjoyable non the less.
Enjoyable course with a good range of holes

Enjoyed our visit. Course in good nick and greens excellent. Variety of holes makes it interesting or it could feel a bit repetitive. It's a long and challenging walk from the pay and display public car park to the course. Bringing a trolley as a visitor was difficult as the bridge is very narrow and there steps to negotiate at both sides.
Great course condition, friendly staff

Great course condition, beautiful fairways, it to difficult rough. Friendly, welcoming staff., just a shame the Pro Shop was closed during our visit.
A unique golfing experience

The 10min walk from the public car park to the clubhouse added to the mystery of playing a course which was yet to be ticked off. Tree lines fairways were lush and greens ran true.
Wee Gem

No issues whatsoever with the course , clubhouse, food was good, very reasonably priced.
Very welcoming.
Not being a local Ifound it quite difficult to find the course and access to it was interesting.
But once you get to the course it was well worth the effort.
