Told 12 it started 12.30 still standing around as not sufficient seating.One of our party like a lot of the other people were elderly. Then led out into the street to another entrance and had to stand until tickets all checked. .Once seated was a fabulous afternoon. Neil Diamond was fabulous really worked the room, second half was a medley of songs all brilliant. Afternoon tea was lovely plenty of it and a really nice staff.

Lovely afternoon tea and terrific performance by the Neil Diamond Tribute act. He also did a second set of mixed music genres which were equally good.

What a fantastic afternoon at the Grosvenor Hotel . Afternoon tea was delicious various sandwiches, cakes and two scones with jam and cream. The Neil Diamond tribute was amazing very entertaining and interacted with the crowd . Great deal I hope it comes back again as would book it again

As for the the Neil Diamond tribute singer an
absolute ⭐ star , great patter and fabulous voice ..
Of course the afternoon tea was yummy too ..

We attended the Neil Diamond afternoon tea at the Grosvenor Hotel. The organisation was poor and communication between staff caused confusion. We were very early and expected to wait until 12pm which I had been told when I booked would be our seating time as they were going to seat us in staggered groups. The receptionist was telling everyone that came in that the event was in a room down a ramp but when they got there they were told (as we were) to wait in the bar. The bar was locked so we waited in the foyer. The receptionist should have been told to direct people to wait in the foyer or the bar when it opened not to the other room. 12pm came and went. More and more people were turning up and it was getting very crowded. Eventually some time after 12.30 when it was due to start we were ushered outside to queue at the bo'vine restaurant entrance. Luckily the weather was dry as we were all outside for a long time queueing as we waited to be seated. Eventually everyone was at their table and the food and drinks were served. The food itself was ok but I've certainly had much better afternoon teas. The tribute act was not so much a tribute but just a man with an average voice singing Neil Diamond songs. He was trying to tell jokes but they weren't funny and some were quite offensive. I was surprised that the Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel would book such a poor act. We tried to get into the spirit of the afternoon but it was just flat and dull. We left at the interval. I've given 2 stars because the food was ok.

Diamond Afternoon Tea was excellent. Food was delicious. Great selection of sandwiches, homemade scones with jam & clotted cream. And handmade desserts. Absolutely delicious.

It was a really super afternoon which exceeded expectations, especially as it started with being wrongly directed to the correct venue door and having to queue again.
The afternoon tea was delicious and beautifully presented, so much that it was impossible to finish! The entertainment superb and sustained throughout the afternoon. Well done Chris Small aka Neil Diamond.

Thoroughly enjoyed Neil Diamond afternoon tea neil was multi talented great entertainer ..food was amazing tasty sandwiches, scones were awesome and sweet treats delightful...great we could have a wee boogie ..would be intetested in anyhing else with music you have..
