We enjoyed our visit to the hotel. Certain areas, fittings and fixtures would benefit from an upgrade.Also there are a lot of stairs to climb when you have a room on the second floor. Staff were generally excellent and friendly. Breakfast and dinner were both much improved from our last visit with good quality and very decent portions.

Fabulous location across from the railway station. Had a lovely dinner and breakfast there. Also great entertainment in the bar from a local singer and guitarist. The perfect break for us.

The location of the hotel is across the road from the train station and the bus stop for the national park.
I loved the period feel of the hotel and the tartan carpets throughout.
I had a cozy double and the room was lovely and warm. The breakfast was very good with hearty portions. All staff were very friendly and so were the guests.
