Turned up on Sunday to discover id booked for Saturday but there was no hassle, got seated by the staff, who were great.
Had a starter then the itison roast. It was plentiful and delicious, well worth the money as was our starters and cocktails

I haven't been for a while. It was my friends birthday so 3 of us decided to give it a try again. We weren't disappointed. We had starters of Goats cheese, scallops, and French onion soup. All were delicious. My main was rib eye steak which was cooked perfectly and the others had blade of beef. We shared a large mac'n cheese with truffle oil and again no complaints. Finishing with the cheese board and cheesecake. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was just as I remembered before when John Quigley was there. His legacy lives on and we will definitely be returning.

Another good lunch at The Red Onion, busier than usual on a very wet Tuesday in town.
The menu for the Itison voucher is adequate with a good selection of options.
We both enjoyed it and will no doubt return in the future.
