Room good though noisy from above .
Meals seemed organised chaos with bus parties in- though the system actually worked well and food was good.
Parking at rear - if on end space reverse in or struggle to get in driver side as spaces very narrow.
Sitting on front lawn with sun out and a cool drink looking over the Clyde - unbeatable !

It was a bit difficult to find the hotel as the promenade is pedestrian access only and the entrance is at the side. The hotel was spotlessly clean, if a little dated and the bedroom was large with a sea view.
The only negative point was the food which was ok, basic home cooked food. Nothing special, but I'd expected something better

The hotel is right on the water. Easy to get around Dunoon. The hotel was lovely. The food was great and the staff were lovely and polite. The only small downside was the shower which although gave hot water wasn’t a great amount of water but a very small thing for a wonderful stay.

Only 1 dinner sitting at 7pm, charged me for a child accompanying us and no children’s menu or food offered for daughter

We arrived as 2 coach parties were checking in which was not a problem as the staff dealt with them very quickly. We were the only non coach party guests and had the same meals as the others. The good points. Food was very good and waiter served evening meal and breakfast. We upgraded to a sea view room which was very large, really nice and comfortable. Staff were all very nice and helpful. The bad points. |The hotel was hard to find even with satnav. Down narrow side streets and not signposted. Don't know how coaches manage it. Car park very small. Hotel dated and run down in parts. Overall a pleasant stay.
