An enjoyable Murder Mystery Night

The Murder Mystery was easy to book . The hotel is at a good location. The evening was good the entertainment was excellent, the food was excellent as well. Having been to a Murder Mystery here before we were disappointed with the room we had this time, not the standard for a four star hotel, defective window catch, poor ventilation, dead moths on the window blind.

Read the small print on Itison voucher, it clearly said Friday early check in at 1pm. We turned up just before 1pm, room wasn't ready and was told it wouldn't be ready til nearer 4pm. As we had parked up and had our carry bags with us we sat in the lounge area for over 2 hours waiting. Staff just said it didn't matter what the voucher said we wouldn't get the key til nearer 4pm yet others were arriving and got their keys no bother. Put a dampner on our stay before it started.
When we did finally get our key room was fine. The meal was really good as was the entertainment. Breakfast very good too. Just felt staff at reception could have been more accommodating for an elderly couple.

Hotel was lovely most of the staff was helpful, easy to get around.
There was a lack of attention and understanding when 1st arrival.
Food was interesting as there was not much to choose from same with the welcome drinks could of been better as there was only cheap wine or water .
Fantastic night great entertainment and food was delicious.

Went to the Blazing puddles murder mystery night and it was fantastic, the actors were brilliant and the food both during the show and the breakfast was excellent, our room was very clean and looked like it had not that long been re done, the complimentary bathroom products were of a very high quality and the tea tray contents again were high quality and plentiful. we were on the 3rd floor room 228 and did have a bit of a concern in the corridor leading to the room where in some places we felt it was only the strength of the carpet stopped us going through the floor and would suggest some repairs are needed to the floor in that corridor.

We attended a murder mystery evening.
It was very well organised and it was good fun. The food was lovely. We expected mediocre food as it was a set menu and a big function. However it definitely wasn't mediocre. The food was well presented, hot and tasted lovely.
I'd definitely recommend the experience.
Fishers Hotel was very good and enjoyable but the Murder Mystery entertainment was not what we expected

The hotels facilities including food and drinks were brilliant and all of our party really enjoyed it. The roomd we were in were beautiful! However the murder mystery was a bit of a let down, we struggled to hear and understand what was going on and wasnt what we really expected.
I would recommend the hotel but not the entertainment

The staff at Fishers are superb, polite , efficient and very helpful.
The Fawlty Towers based murder mystery dinner was great fun, the food was good and the entertainment weaved in and out of the three courses.
The travelling players were excellent, involving the audience and keeping it light hearted.
