My wife and I had a very enjoyable lunch at the Tilted Wig the food was delicious the staff were helpful and very friendly we would definitely go back

We arrived just as a very entertaining pub quiz kicked off and were served and seated promptly by a friendly, efficient young barmaid. The menu offers a decent selection of pub grub at very reasonable prices. There's a beer & burger special, where from Tues-Thurs you can get any burger and a pint for £17.50. We both had burgers which were not only tasty but beautifully presented, and the drinks menu is also very reasonably priced. The ongoing quiz - the compere was very funny - meant the venue had a very good atmosphere and we have no hesitation recommending this to anyone looking for good, simple dishes at a decent price.

Nice meal shame about the noise level

Our meal was basic but nice, we enjoyed our food. It was just a shame about the noise level in the pub, I didn't think it would be that noisy late afternoon. I would go back but probably at lunchtime in the week.
