Staff were first class but hotel itself needs upgrading. Food pretty basic but expensive. £11 for a plate of soup OTT in our opinion.

Lovely staff, relaxed atmosphere, beautiful views and a gorgeous estate to explore. Definitely worth battling through the thigh-deep snow to get to!
