The view and surroundings were beautiful, unfortunately the midges were out in full pelt.
The furnishings and fixtures could do with TLC - great to see fly screens but not when ours was missing and fixtures in toilet were cheap and with a few pounds could be better both practically and aesthetically. Be nice, lots of people won’t know about midges - a couple of citronella candles or spirals would be a nice touch??
You’ve got a gold mine, so respect for the property and customers will be reciprocated. Fabulous value for money via Itison - despite my minor recommendations I’d thoroughly recommend

Lovely quiet comfy lodges at the lochside with views of Ben Venue and Scotlands rainforest . Really handy for the cruises ( voucher for 1 hour cruise included in the deal) Callander nearby too for supplies.

Pods are clean, very warm and cosy. Boat trip on Loch Katrine was brilliant. Enjoyed delicious pizza from on site restaurant. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Lovely walks nearby. Would book again.

We had the Loch Katrine lodge, it was clean, warm and well equipped, perfect for 2. The staff were lovely and let us pay the difference to upgrade our boat tickets to the 2 hour trip so that we could disembark and go for a walk before returning on the later sailing. We used our £15 voucher to preorder from the cafe as it shuts at 5, and it was ready to take round to the lodge when we got back. Once the day trippers go you have the place to yourself and we loved hearing the owls, geese, cuckoos and woodpeckers.

The lodge was nice would be better with smaller
table as difficult to use and very heavy to move.
Would have liked cafe to be open later (even til 7pm) as food and coffee were very nice and very reasonably priced.

Myself and partner loved the pods .
We had the premiere ones with underfoot heating and en-suite really cosy as it was -5 some nights
The people were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and boat trip was incredible even although it was Feb .
Hopefully will make a return visit soon
