80th birthday treat, spa treatments and afternoon tea spa day for my mum, from my sister & myself. Beautiful surroundings, absolutely stunning drive up to the hotel. Reception staff at the spa were helpful, informative and very welcoming. Spa therapists were friendly, no waiting we all had neck, back, shoulder massages then facials. Have a choice of products used and can also buy products at the reception at spa after treatments, which mum did ! Mum really enjoyed her treatments by Caroline, my sister did too by another therapist. Went for afternoon tea there was a function party in, so we did have to wait 40mins for afternoon tea but the restaurant manager did bring extra tea and was very apologetic for the wait , staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovely inside and views are stunning when having afternoon tea in robes , we were looking out to the gardens and afternoon tea was delicious!
We had the use of the steam room , sauna, jacuzzi and pool which were great !! Changing area and locker which there are plenty off & a bonus… hairdryers , stools, etc
We all had a great experience, Mum had a fantastic day ! The only thing I would say is that the relax spa room needs the furniture update as tired and damaged.
